The Defence Secretary Lieutenant General (retd) Syed Athar Ali would give
a briefing to the Abbotabad Commission on the American raid of 2nd May
in Abbotabad to kill Osama bin Laden, here today (Saturday); meanwhile
the commission would also be informed about the view point of
government.
The meeting of commission headed by Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal would be held in the Cabinet Division.
According to sources, the commission decided to speed up its investigations.
According to media reports, the Abbotabad Commission would visit the
compound of Osama bin Laden in Abbotabad after Eid-ul-Fitar; meanwhile
the commission would collect the evidences regarding the residence of
Osama bin Laden in the compound and would collect information from the
local population regarding the presence of Osama in Abbottabad. SANA
