At eight persons were killed and six others injured in the result of the ongoing clashes between banded outfits Lashkar-e-Islm and Ansarul Islam in Terranh Valley of the Khayber Agency here on Sunday.
According to the sources the fresh clashes took place at the Nasta
Pal area of the valley, resulting in the deaths of eight persons and
injury of six others.
The opponent groups are using heavy and light arms against each
other during the clashes; meanwhile the dead persons belong to both
groups.
Ansarul Islam has claimed that it has killed the five persons of
opponent group; meanwhile the opponent group has not rectified the
claim of Ansarul Islam.
It is worth mentioning here that more than 500 persons have been
killed in the result of the violent clashes between the groups during
the last many years. SANA
