SC bench headed by CJP to hear missing ISAF containers’ case today

The Customs authorities will produce a report about missing ISAF (International Security Assistance Forces) containers before the Supreme Court today (Monday) as the three-member SC bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry is resuming the case hearing today (Monday).

In the report the Customs authorities will brief the apex court regarding measures to check the illegal movement and missing of the ISAF containers.
The Supreme Court in a suou moto notice had expressed its displeasure over the illegal movement of goods thought these containers. The SC court had directed the customs authorities to take measure to stop all the irregularities so that the national exchequer could be saved from heavy loss.
