Pak not to accept supremacy of any country in region: FM

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said that Pakistan is a sovereign country and would not accept the supremacy of any country in the region.

She said that her meeting with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the sidelines of the ASEAN conference was fruitful and both countries agreed to solve the issues through dialogue and restoration of strategic dialogue was also stressed.
This she said while talking to media persons reaching Pakistan after attending the ASEAN Regional Forum in Indonesia.
She said that the Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai has rendered great services for the solution of the Kashmir dispute, adding that Pakistan is an important party in the Kashmir dispute and it want to move forward to solve the issue through dialogue process.
She said that Hillary Clinton stressed that Pakistan and US should restart the strategic dialogues and it is very necessary for putting the relations between the two countries on track.
She said that Hillary Clinton also stressed upon the need of solving the disputed issues between the two countries through dialogue process.
She said that Hillary Clinton showed her desire for having another detailed meeting with me, adding that the meeting on the occasion of ASEAN meeting was lasted just for 45 minutes and Hillary said that a detailed meeting is needed, adding that I would hold detailed meeting with Hillary Clinton soon.
She said that all the issues facing by the two countries would be discussed in the meeting, adding that she is hopeful that all the issues would be solved in this meeting.
Hina Rabbani Khar said that Pakistan is an important country of the region, adding that if India accepts the role of India it also accepts the role of Pakistan, adding that Pakistan is sovereign country and would not accept the supremacy of any country. SANA
