PML-Functional ready to join hands with PPP in Sindh

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has played a pivotal role to make Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) an ally of PPP and to include PML-F in Sindh government.

Well-placed sources said that President Zardari make a telephonic call to chief PML-F & Spiritual Leader of Hurs’ Peer Pagara to make deal for the inclusion of PML-F in government after the separation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) from PPP-led coalition partner.
Peer Pagara expressed his willingness to join the Sindh government and to become an ally of PPP, Said credible sources. After receiving green single from the Chief of PML-F, PPP Sindh senior leaders including Zulfiqar Ali Mirza paid a formal visit to Kingri House.
The Sources claimed that three ministries will be awarded to PML-F members and an appointment of an advisor will be made as well.
The expected members to whom ministries will be awarded includes; former opposition leader Jam Madad Ali, Marvi Rashidi and Ali Ghulam Nazmani for provincial ministries while Imtiaz Sheikh expected to be made an advisor.
However, the final decision regarding the ministries will be made after the approval of MQM members’ resignation, said sources.
When Online contacted with the PML-F leadership to know about their point of view over the recent political development, they said that President Zardari called the Chief PML-F on that day when provincial minister Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Mirza visited Kingri House. Before, 20 minutes arrival of Dr. Mirza, President Zardari telephoned to Peer Pagara and informed regarding the whole situation. Online
