Punjab Chief Minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that the people of Punjab have
been victimized by the federal government in petrol, gas and power
supply matters and added if the injustices were not stopped forthwith,
then the residents of Punjab knew how to get their rights.
Talking to media persons after inspecting the ongoing construction work at the Aashiana Housing Scheme here on Sunday.
He said that their government is providing a life to poor, who are
waiting for past 60 years and here all facilities of survival like
elite class colonies would be available for the poor people of the
province, adding that this scheme would be started in South Punjab also.
Shahbaz said that this scheme was started to eliminate the
distinction between rulers and masses of Pakistan, adding that other
purpose of this scheme is to provide relief to masses, who are facing
difficulties in their lives since 63 years.
He said the government has provided homes to deserving people
without chanting slogans, adding that construction of 15/20 thousand
houses for one lac persons under Aashian-II would kick off in few days.
He said that injustice was being perpetrated on the 100 million
people of Punjab in matters of petrol, gas and electricity, adding that
the people of Punjab with a Pakistani mindset voted the rulers but the
government after taking votes of the Punjab people is behaving like a
step mother.
He said that their government would bear the fees of the children of
the residents of these colonies, health, cricket and hockey grounds
grounds, dispensaries and other basic facilities would be available
like a standard housing society, adding that Aashina is a name of
vision and ideology aiming at making Pakistan a Islamic welfare state
in real meanings.
Shahbaz Sharif said that federal government is behaving like
stepmother with Punjab in matters of gas, oil and water and government
is depriving of the 100 million masses of Punjab, adding that the
residents of Punjab know the way to take their rights if this injustice
would not be ended and throwing of petrol bomb by federal government on
Punjab masses was great example of injustice behavior. SANA
