ISLAMABAD: PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Ch. Pervaiz Elahi
would hold meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari tomorrow (Monday). Prime
Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani will also attend the meeting.
According to a private TV channel, President Zardari has accepted demand of
the PML-Q about Deputy Premier. Ch. brothers would call on President Zardari and
Prime Minister Gilani on Monday.
During the meeting, the prime minister would be taken into confidence about
power sharing formula.
According to the sources, PML-Q demanded of seven federal ministries and same
number of state ministries, while they also demanded of the governorship of
Punjab or Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa.
The PML-Q demanded of Foreign Ministry, Water and Power Ministry, Petroleum
Ministry and Communication Ministry.
However, at the moment, the president agreed over providing five ministries
to the PML-Q. PML-Q four provincial presidents and Fasail Saleh Hayat would
become federal ministers.
The sources added that there would be written agreement of power sharing and
leadership of both sides would sign it and the details of the accord would be
announced in a joint press conference. Online
