PML-N not to compromise on principles for power: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawz (PML-N) Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that no comprise would be made with any political group or party in opposition on principles, adding that elected government do not enjoy powers to take decisions on important national security and foreign matters but military establishment takes all decisions.
He said that for this reason we are announcing loudly interference of establishment and military in political system.
In an informal interview with a private TV channel, he said that elections should be held to bring out country out of problems and political dragging, adding that masses are in search of effective political power.
He said that he is monitoring closely Pakistan’s present conditions and would come back soon to resume political life.
He said that he is recovering his health rapidly and feeling very well, adding that he is feeling himself more energetic then the past.
He said that his party is of the view from the very fist day that it would not do the politics of hypocrisy in the country. He said that very body knows that which kind of politics Pakistan People’s Party and PML-Q were doing in the past it is the part of the record of history but for the power, these two parties are joining hands together.
He said that his politics is based on principles and masses should aware about the policies of the PML-N.
He said that for the real change in the country authority is also needed with power to elected government, adding that it is custom in the country to rule powerlessly in important national security and foreign matters.
He questioned that does present elected government had shown its powers about recent Raymond Davis case and relations with Afghanistan, India and America.
He said that if people give mandate to government to rule the country then it should have powers for taking decisions, adding that masses should know the policies of PML-N.
He said that whoever is involved in the Raymond Davis case, he did not serve the country and this case was cause of shame for the sovereignty of Pakistan in the world.
He said that the person who works in Pakistan against Pakistan was sent abroad without accountability and passport.
He told that in recent days President Asif Ali Zardari called him twice, adding that he told the president that elections are the solution of present problems but election should be held after five years.
He said that because of current increase in price hike, poverty, unemployment and lawlessness masses are searching for effective political power, adding that after his return the people would support his agenda and program. SANA
