Terrorist to be dealt with iron hands: Rehman Malik

ISLAMABAD : Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that the terrorists would be dealt with iron hands, adding that indiscriminate action would be taken against the terrorists in the country.

Talking to media persons outside the parliament house, Rehman Malik said that 60 target killers involved in target killing incidents of Karachi have been arrested.
He said that wherever in the country the incidents of crimes would be happened the government would take immediate action against the criminals, adding that to maintain the law and order situation in the country is the responsibility of the government.
He said that peace in the country would be ensured at all costs; adding that the efforts to end incidents of target killings in Karachi are going on and two more target killers have been nabbed.
He said that the security forces have been ordered to take indiscriminate action against the target killers, adding these target killers should be brought in the court of justice.
He said MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has asked him to take action against those who are using the name of MQM for target killing should be held and punished according to the law of the land.
Meanwhile Rehman Malik took stern notice of the violence of police against the journalists of Islamabad and incident of making hostage of journalists of private TV channels by the authorities of the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL).
Rehman Malik suspended the SHO of Aapara Police Station and has ordered the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad to present the report of the violence of police against the journalists in 24 hours. SANA
