HASILPUR : Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said on
Wednesday that the Nation must unite and people come
out on roads if they intended to stop US drone attacks, adding that these
missile attacks would not be stopped through mare condemnations statements and
protest sit-ins.
Addressing a public gathering in Hasilpur Tehsil of Bahawalpur, Chief
Minister Punjab, Mian Shehbaz Sharif said that people should come out on roads
in protest against the US Drone attacks and Pakistan Muslim League-N will fully
support them in the move.
Shehbaz Sharif said government should not accept foreign aid with any
conditionality as without breaking up the beggar’s bowl the innocent Pakistanis
will continue to die in drone attacks.
Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif has said that he promised that lost
prestige of Pakistan will be regained if we give-up the policy of dependency as
there is no deficiency of resources in Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif warns that as soon as we not stopped the policy of reliance
the innocent Pakistani citizens will continue to die.
Punjab’s Chief Minister said that due to the uphill struggle of our farmers
Punjab has achieved the target of wheat crop despite the devastation caused by
recent floods.
He said that the government will buy four million tons of wheat from small
farmers on priority basis, adding that the provincial government has given the
subsidy of 40 billion rupees on the Green Tractor Scheme to the farmers.
Shahbaz Sharif announced to give the honorship rights to the residents of
Cholistan after ending the wheat harvesting season; meanwhile chief minister
also announced five percent quota in Danish Schools for the children of
Cholistan.
Shahbaz Sharif also announced to start rescue 1122 in Hasilpur and announced
to establish girl’s degree college in Chunay Wala village in Hasilpur. SANA
