Peshawar: At least a man was killed and a dozen others wounded in an
explosion in a busy market here on Wednesday, officials said.
Police
said blast occurred near vehicle of tribal leader Malik Taj who was
passing through Karkhano market in Hayatabad area of the city.
Bomb
was planted in a car parked in the market, sources said adding that 10
other vehicles were fully damaged by the explosion.
12 people
also sustained injuries and have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital
where condition of some wounded is reported to be critical.
Police rushed to the scene soon after the incident and cordon off area for search operation. Online
