LAHORE: Advocate General Punjab, Khawaja Haris has resigned on
Wednesday due to differences with the Punjab government over issue of
Law officials’ appointment.
According to media reports, Advocate
General Punjab Khawaja Haris had reservations over appointment of Law
officials. He was of the view that recruitment of Law officials was out
of merit. He expressed these reservations before the government of
Punjab several time but no step was taken to make amendments.
He has shifted his goods from his office to his house and also has give up security provided to him by the government.
It is pertinent to mention here that Khawaja Haris had resigned twice before. Online
