KARACHI: At least seven persons were killed and five others became
unconscious after having poisonous liquor in Chancer Goth area of
Karachi.
Sources said that 12 people took toxicant wine and
became unconscious while seven persons out of them died on the spot and
five others were rushed to Jinnah Hospital.
According to
sources, the ages of the deceased were from 25 to 30 years. Besides, the
hospital sources said at least two persons lost their eyesight while
two others were in critical condition.
Police sources said that the deceased were friends.
On
the other hand, Senior Superintendent Police, Javed Odho informed that
four persons were in critical condition while the relatives of the
deceased refused to hand over the dead bodies to police for autopsy. Online
