4 employees suspended for stealing medicines

LAHORE: Four employees of Services Hospital have been suspended on charges of stealing medicines and not mentioning the names of concerned department on the drugs to be provided.

Medical Superintendent Services Hospital Dr. Muhammad Javed has ordered further inquiry against the suspended employees named as Javed Bhatti Junior Clerk, Ghulam Rasul Ward Boy and Abdul Sattar and Ikram, both working in the store.
Dr. Muhammad Javed also directed the Nursing Superintendent and pharmacists to deposit packing and rappers of used medicines back in the store on daily basis. He said that if some drugs are recovered from cabinet of any employee during inspection, he or she would have to face strict action. Online
