KARACHI: Sense of grief and mourning grips Sindh and other parts of
country at the demise of former Pakistan first lady and mother of slain
PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto.
Begum Nusrat Bhutto, 82, died in
Dubai on Sunday after protracted illness. Life is at standstill in
several cities as shops and markets are lying closed. In Sukkur, all
markets and business centers are closed and people are in a state of
shock over the demise of Begum Bhutto.
Roads are presenting a deserted look in Nawabshah. Situation is very similar in Shikarpur and other cities of Sindh also.
