FATEH JANG/ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said back
of terrorists has been broken and they are now committing dastardly
acts of targeting families of Security Forces personnel.
He
said this while talking to media men after condoling with family
members of Khalid Masood at Fateh Jang who was martyred in Quetta
suicide attack and attending meeting held at parliament lodges
Islamabad on security situation Friday.
He went on to say Security Forces personnel were protecting the country by rendering sacrifices of their lives.
He
said Quetta bombing could be retaliation to arrest of a key leader of
Taliban. “We will have to watch the movement of foreigners more than
before so that Abbottabad like incident does nor recur”, he added.
Responding to a question he said MQM was still ally of government and it was still with government.
He
told extortionists and target killers had been arrested who were from
various political parties during the targeted operation in Karachi.
Peace would be restored in Karachi at every cost, he added.
Indiscriminate operation would continue in Karachi till the restoration
of peace, he maintained.

Karachi situation was under control at present and security agencies
were keeping watchful eye on all suspected persons. Directives have
also been issued to ensure foolproof security of parliament lodges, he
stated.
