Sharif not satisfied with party parliamentarians’ performance

ISLAMABAD: President PML (N) Nawaz Sharif has expressed annoyance over poor performance of N-League parliamentarians and asked them to improve their working so as government might be given tough time in the parliament.

According to sources the PML(N) Chief urged upon the senior leadership of the party that they should only attent the session of parliament especially National Assembly but also take part in the debate actively. He also asked to activate the new members of assemblies and senate in this regard.
The sources also revealed that Nawaz Sharif also sought the report regarding the presence in the proceedings, participation in discussion, general behaviour and performance of the MNAs hailed form PML(N) in the national assembly. He termed the performance of members elected on special seats especially women parliamentarians unsatisfactory.
The PML(N) Chief Nawaz Sharif has conveyed the message to the party parliamentarians that they should make their functioning better on the floor of the house otherwise they would not be given party ticket in the next general elections. He also showed his resentment over non serious attitude of the party leadership due to which label of friendly opposition has been put on party’s face .
On the other hand when contacted PML(N) Information Secretary , Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan said that he is unaware of all the matter . However he said that it is the normal routine of political parties that their head can issue directives to the leadership to work under the party policy. Online
