MIRPUR KHAS: Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has expressed
his great pride in Armed forces, and said that it would be used
wherever/ whenever required.
Talking to media after his visit
to flood ravaged areas of Mirpur Khas, the PM announced that he had
directed Army helicopters to help relocate trapped flood affectees to
safer zones, and said that government was using all possible resources
at hand to provide relief to flood affected masses.
The PM
assured that all rescue in flooded areas had been accomplished, and was
being followed by relief activities to alleviate miseries caused by
earlier monsoon rains.
The PM also appealed to global community
to assist in relief activities for flood victims, while he also urged
all MNAs/MPAs to work in their respective areas. ONline
