Dengue fever: Four deaths recorded on Sunday

LAHORE: Dengue fear continued to grip Lahore and other parts of Punjab as another four people fell prey to the mosquito-borne disease here on Sunday.
As many as 39 people have died of the dengue fever over the last few days in the city.

All city hospitals are filled with dengue-affected patients.
Despite imposition of Section 144, private laboratories are overcharging patients for CBC tests. The provincial government had fixed the rate of CBC tests at Rs90.
In Faisalabad, Government College University was closed for one week due to alarming rise in dengue patients in the city. 
Punjab’s Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered immediate appointment of 1, 000 nurses to overcome staff shortage at state-run hospitals. Online
