QUETTA: After Zulfiqar Mirza and Nawabzada Lashkari Raeesani,
another PPP leader and MNA Mir Humayun Kurd harshly criticized Interior
Minister Rehman Malik by saying that he is following Musharraf’s
footsteps and carrying out the agenda of foreign anti state elements to
break Pakistan, which would cause loss to the country.
While
addressing a press conference at his residence here on Tuesday, Kurd
said that the portfolio of interior ministry might be taken back from
Rehman Malik and an independent judicial commission be constituted to
probe the revelations made by former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar
Mirza.
He blamed that Rehman Malik is responsible for
deteriorating law and order condition in entire country especially in
Baluchistan. “Whenever we submitted any application regarding the state
of affairs in Baluchistan, he did not even bother to answer the query.
The position could not be changed till Malik is working on the slot of
interior minister ”, he added.
Responding a question he said
that Rehman Malik always conveys wrong reports to President Zardari
regarding law and order. He is playing havoc in Baluchistan and
Karachi, it is very reason that people are getting annoyed with him. He
said that it is the responsibility of Rehman Malik to unveil the faces
of those elements which are maligning Baluchistan on the name of BLA by
throwing stale rucksack dead bodies.
He termed the demand of
fresh election is needless in prevailing circumstances of the country.
There is dare need to control the situation instead of holding midterm
polls. He said PPP always got power ,when the country was in the state
of war.
PPP leader was of the view that with the arrival of US
forces in Afghanistan , the law and order situation in Baluchistan
started getting poor but operation against Nawab Akbar Bugti instigated
insurgency in the province. The unholy alliance of America , India and
Israel are behind the conspiracy to worsen the condition. Their agents
are killing teachers , doctors , lawyers and engineers there.
“Now
they are murdering the local people and so called organizations accept
the responsibility for that. Baluchistan is being pushed towards civil
war. Those people that are driving movements of liberations in
Baluchistan , have nothing to do with Baluch people. They are only
puppets, dancing on the fingers tips of anti Pakistan forces”, Humayun
