Sindh govt to decide about deployment of army in Karachi: PM Gilani

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Thursday that the government would complete its tenure and the elections will be held on time.

While visiting a utility store here Prime Minister said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) are trying their best to restore peace in Karachi.
Answering a question, he said that Nawaz Sharif’s demand of elections is an old demand and no party is supporting him.
Talking about the recent situation in Karachi, Gilani said that the Sindh government will decide about deployment of army in Karachi. The PM said, sending Rehman Malik to Karachi is aimed to restore peace there immediately.
Gilani also talked with people and listened to their reservations regarding high prices of routine item in the utility store and the performance of the workers. Online
