The plea of second FIR submitted by the former Chief Protocol Officer of Benazir Bhutto, Chaudhry Aslam to nominate Former Law Minister Babar Awan, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Federal Minister Senior Minister Pervez Elahi, Former President Pervez Musharraf, former Chief of IB Brigadier Ejaz Shah, former CPO Rawalpindi Saud Aziz and others in the murder case of Benazir Bhutto.
During the initial hearing of the case the chief justice had summoned the reports from the Attorney General of Pakistan and said that a great leader killed and no body was interested in the investigation of the murder case.
He said that the case is so important that the court would constitute a larger bench for the hearing of this case, meanwhile it would be decided after reviewing the reports that if there is any role of Babar Awan, Rehman Malik and others in the murder case to register another FIR against them.
The applicant cited in the application that if Rehman Malik and Babar Awan had not run away the back up vehicle from the venue then most probably the life of Benazir Bhutto could have been saved. SANA
