A National Exhibition of Calligraphy organized by Pakistan National
Council of the Arts began at National Art Gallery Islamabad on Friday.
The event, which is a regular annual feature of PNCA in the last
week of Ramzan every year, is aimed at promoting and projecting this
fine art form.
The exhibition is a combination of both traditional styles and forms, at the same time modern, creative and experimental renderings by both the genres traditional and modern. Artists including masters and young are invited from all over the country to send their art work for the exhibition.
Two hundred art works of about one hundred artists are on display at the exhibition.The exhibition would continue for six weeks. It is open for general public from 9 am to 1 pm during Ramazan and from 9 am to 5 pm after Ramazan. SANA
