PM giving bad name to Multan: Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly Ch Nisar Ali Khan has expressed his sorrow over the bad reputation PM has caused to his own hometown through picking corrupt persons (for key posts) from the city which is otherwise known as home to Sufis and saints.
In a press release issued here Friday, the opposition leader said that it was not the fault of Multan City,
but rather the ineptness of the PM who was bent on appointing all the corrupt, imprudent and inept persons of the City to his cabinet, rank and file.
“I wonder why can’t the PM choose/ single out honest elements of Multan, when there is abundance of them available”, he scoffed. He also expressed his great apathy for the pathetic knowledge of PM, who even has no idea that government had no part in collection of outstanding worth Rs.115 billion, which were recovered by the efforts of PAC (Public Accounts Committee).
He was equally chagrined of the fact that PM did not even have the understanding that once audit paras (issues) come to notice of PAC, the government has no jurisdiction over them, anymore, and all the credit automatically falls to PAC. Expressing his shame for record-breaking irregularities of government, he said that government’s progress of past two years was about to be released, and in order to save embarrassment, an auditor general of PM’s choice was being appointed; violating PAC regulations just like disregarding judicial verdicts. Nisar Ali Khan also wondered that PM had to defend the controversial appointment personally, and nobody from his cabinet ventured to his assistance.
He berated the degrading of the executive post of PM, by the incumbent, which did not augur him (PM) prudent and decent. Online
