Fifth anniversary of former governor Balochistan and leader of the Bugti tribe, Nawab Akbar khan
Bugti was observed in Balochistan on Friday with a complete
shutter-down in different areas of Balochistan including Quetta.
The complete strike was observed in various cities of the province
including Naseerabad, Dera Murad Jamali, Khuzdar, Turbat, Makran and
Chaghi on call by Baloch Republican Partry (BRP), Baloch National Front
(BNF) and other nationalist parties.
All commercial centers were shut down and traffic was absolutely off roads in the province.
Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) took out a rally in Dera Murad Jamali and staged a demo in front of press club.
Demonstrators said dictator rulers killed thousands of Baloch youths
including Nawab Bugti and even in the era of this government which was
flag-bearer of the democracy, Baloch were being slaughtered.
, black flags were hoisted on party office buildings while the workers will use black arm bands to mark the anniversary.
Other Baloch nationalist parties including BNF, BNP along with Pakistan Muslim League (PML) have also favored to observe the strike.
The chief of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP), Nawabzadah Talal Bugti appealed to the political parties, civil society, traders and transporters to make the black day successful.
