ISLAMABAD: THREE political parties have sent the names of their
members to speaker National Assembly (NA) in connection with
parliamentary committee to be constituted to probe into lawlessness in
Karachi and Balochistan.
NA secretariat sources told opposition
party PML-N had sent 5 names which included Zahid Hamid, Sardar Mehtab
Ahmad, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Khawaja Asif and Rana Tanveer. Names of
its members communicated by MQM are Haider Abbas Rizvi, Waseem Akhtar,
Asif Hasnain and Sajid Ahmad. JUI-F has given the name of Maulana Atta
ur Rehman.
Sources told PML-Q, ANP and PPP had not sent names of their members so far for constitution of committee. Online
