ADB to give $36.8m to help overcome energy crises

ISLAMABAD: Asian Development Bank’s (ADP) report revealed that Pakistan’s financial progress had to face huge loss due to acute load shedding and announced to give 36.8 million $ aid by keeping in view the prevailing energy crises in the country.
The aid would be utilize to install substitute energy projects under which a wind power plant would be established with a capacity of 56.4 mega watts of electricity. A Turkish firm Zorlo Energy would set up the plant with the financial assistance of ADB.
