ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chuadhry has
taken suo moto notice of Karachi unrest where 9 more people have been
gunned down on Monday morning.
According to media reports,
taking sou moto notice of bloodshed in the financial capital of the
country, the chief justice asked the government to provide TV footages
and other details on Karachi unrest.
Notice comes after an open
letter to the Chief Justice was published in news papers on Sunday in
which writer urged the Chief Justice to take notice of daily killing of
dozens of innocent people in the city. Online
