Karachi, Quetta on fire, but rulers busy in intrigues: Munawar Hasan

Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Syed Munawar Hasan has said that both Karachi and Quetta were on fire but the rulers were busy in intrigues and politics of corruption and commissions.

He said different forces were playing with the blood of the innocent masses only to establish their supremacy.
Talking to different delegations at Mansoora on Wednesday after his return from a twelve day visit to Saudi Arabia, the JI chief said that if the government was sincere and serious steps were adopted for peace, the situation could normalize.
The situation, he said, called for an across the board activity against the criminals in the port city.
Syed Munawar Hasan said it was strange that the masses voted for those whom they cursed otherwise. This tendency of voting the corrupt people must change, he said.
He however warned that if there was no change through the ballot, a bloody revolution was inevitable.
The JI chief said that the US slavery and the corrupt rulers were the real cause of the present political and economic mess. Price hike, load shedding and unemployment besides drone attacks had made the life of the people a hell but the rulers were unconcerned. The US was making plans for the total destruction of this country but the government was busy in proving their loyalty to Washington.
On the other hand, he said, the unarmed Afghans had defeated yet another super power and shattered its myth of US supremacy. The Pakistani people would have also to make a continuous struggle for getting rid of the US hold and its slaves ruling this country.
Syed Munawar Hasan, said that the Pakistanis living abroad were imbued with the patriotic spirit and were also keen for playing their role in saving the motherland. SANA
