Ch. Shujaat wants All Parties conference to debate Karachi situation

ISLAMABAD: President of PML (Q), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has recommended an immediate All Parties conference to debate the current volatile situation of Karachi, until permanent solution to crisis was resolved.

Addressing the inauguration of Utility Store Branch in National Press Club (NPC), the PML-Q president said that Pakistanis were genuinely concerned about the worsening situation of Karachi.
He stressed on an immediate end to all the blood and gore being committed in the metropolis, which was the economic backbone and hub of the Country.
Recommending three steps for ushering in the political solution of Karachi crisis, he said that all steps being currently taken were adhoc and temporary; and said that he had observed Karachi crisis deeply, and discovered that every party known who is doing what and from where.
He blamed land, qabza, weapons and drug mafia for all the trouble, and expressed his concerns that issues might fall in hands of criminal elements.
Earlier while inaugurating Utility store at NPC, he recommended that senior federal minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi should also establish utility stores in press clubs of all major cities.
He lauded the establishment of provision, which would provide basic commodities to journalists and their families on their own doorsteps. Another recommendation to include provision for children section was also on the anvil. Online
