ISLAMABAD: Youth of Parachinar (YOP) lauded Army operation in the lower and central Kurram agency against Taliban.
Central
spokesperson YOP Shabbir Sajidi appreciated the army action while
addressing the “Parachinar’s Rights Protection Rally” which marched
from sector G-6/2 to the Parliament House here on Wednesday.
More
than three hundred participants from different parts of the country
joined the rally to express solidarity with the affected people of
Parachinar.
The participants were holding placards, banners
inscribed with slogans focusing on demands of the besieged
Parachinarians and tyrannies of the Taliban that they committed with
the innocent population.
When the rally reached in front of the
Parliament house, it turned into sit in where representatives of the
YOP addressed the rally. They said that terrorist Taliban occupied the
Thall-Parachinar road from the last five years, which disturbed the
normal life badly.
They urged the Federal government to arrange
an emergency C-130 helicopters for those students who had recently
cleared the Secondary School (SSC) Annual Examination and want to
continue their studies.
The speakers also highlighted that
besieged occupants of Parachinar lacked health facilities, emergency
patients, they added, need immediate medical assistance.
Meanwhile,
they also stressed the day-by-day increasing unemployment, decrease in
edible commodities and lack of civil amenities in the area.
“We
were asking for long that so called Talibans has no relevance with
Islam, they are posing major threat to the ideology of Islam, Chief of
Army Staff during last Core Commander’s meeting supported this stance”,
added Shabbir Sajidi. Online
