MURREE: PML-N president Nawaz Sharif has said supremacy of
parliament is an acknowledged fact but it will not be allowed to strike
judiciary.
As per details released by PML-N, a meeting of newly
elected office bearers of PML-N was held here Saturday under Nawaz
Sharif.
He underlined that government would have to implement
judicial decisions. PML-N will not disappoint the people, he held.
Future of country lies with rule of law, he remarked.
Nawaz
Sharif maintained unprecedented sacrifices had been rendered for the
cause of rule of law and independence of judiciary. Parliament is
supreme but it will not be allowed to act as shield for corruption, he
announced.
Only Pakistani and not the personal or party
politics is our manifesto, Nawaz Sharif maintained. He held that
expressing solidarity by public servants for the rule of law was a good
omen.
Earlier eminent politician of Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa and
former ANP leader Farid Toofan met Nawaz Sharif. He said nation was
