Anjum Aqeel, accomplices’ judicial remand extended to 9th August

Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi Judge Muhammad Akram Awan has extended the judicial remand up to August 9 of all the accused involved in the run away case of MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan.

The special court judge on Saturday, while hearing the run away case of Anjum Aqeel and other accused were told by the police that the arrested MNA was under treatment in the hospital and, therefore, he couldn’t be produced before the court.
The court accepting the reason for non-production of the accused adjourned the hearing, but ordered the police to submit the challan against all the accused on the next hearing of the case.
Meanwhile the bail plea for the release of 29 accused arrested in run away case of Anjum Aqeel were not accepted by the ATC judge and sent them in Adiyala jail on judicial remand till the 9th of August. SANA
