Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani
has said that government’s policy of reconciliation has helped
resolving the national issues. All the political parties, he
maintained, should work for the strengthening of democratic
institutions, to ensure the solution of the problems of the public.
The Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to Sardar
Latif Khosa, Governor of Punjab, who called on him at Prime Minister’s
House here on Saturday.
The Prime Minister asked the Governor to play his constitutional
role to ensure political harmony among all political parties in the
interest of the people of province. He asked him to monitor the price
control in the province ahead of the onset of Holy Month of Ramazan.
Governor Sardar Latif Khosa assured the Prime Minister that he would
play his due constitutional role for betterment of people of province.
Both leaders discussed overall political situation of the country. SANA
