Pakistan rubbishes US reports regarding involvement of ISI in Saleem Shahzad assassination

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has rejected all US reports and news regarding involvement of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in assassination of Senior Journalist, Saleem Shahzad.

Intelligence sources told Online that there is no any truth in the reports and news which were published in US regarding the involvement of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI in murder case of Saleem Shahzad. All these reports are baseless and have no legal grounds.
Sources said that a commission has already been constituted to investigate Saleem Shahzad murder case and inquiry is underway. It is regrettable that the US media has published reports against ISI without waiting verifying the news and US media did not wait for the report of the Saleem Sahahzad assassination Inquiry Commission. The sources termed the reports a well-planned propaganda against Pakistani intelligence agency.
Therefore, it is worthless to say anything regarding the murder case before the final report of the Inquiry Commission.
Sources further told Online that the US media has started propaganda against Pakistan and on Tuesday (July 5) New York Times had published report of Saleem Shahzad assassination without any solid proof. In report, the NYT explained that Saleem Shahzad was killed on the orders of ISI.
While Pakistani Intelligence sources confirmed that there is no any truth in the reports of US media.
