ISLAMABAD: Abbottabad Commission decided that the family member of
Osama bin Laden (OBL) would be interviewed, therefore they should not
be allowed to leave the country.
According to the media
reports, the commission has laid out procedure to carry out
investigations of the May 02 incident in which US forces killed Al
Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. In its maiden meeting held under the
chairmanship of Justice Javed Iqbal at the Islamabad Cantt Secretariat,
Relevant officials would also be interviewed as part of the probe.
Other
members Lt-Gen (r) Nadeem Ahmed, former ambassador Ashraf Jehangir Qazi
and former KPK IG Abbas Khan also attended the meeting. The commission
will particularly focus on Osama’s presence in Abbottabad, sources
said.
The commission members may also visit the area where
Osama was killed. However, no timeframe to complete the probe has so
far been finalized. The commission would also issue recommendations on
