ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that the
Opposition has neither a vision nor a program for betterment of the
masses, adding that the opponents are scared from the upcoming Senate
elections.
In an interview to a private TV channel, the Prime
Minister said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has presented four
budgets and by grace of Allah it will present the 5th as well. The
purpose to restore the Commissionerate system brings a policy of
equality in all four provinces, he added.
Talking about the
Senate elections, the PM said that Oppositions are scared because of
the upcoming elections and it wants that PPP could not acquire majority
in Senate.
He claimed that the opposition has no any vision for
the country and whatever, the opposition plotting, they are trying to
create hurdles for us, so that, PPP could not to get maximum seats in
Senate. However, as soon the elections are coming, the opponents will
see the results. There is no any reason for the Local Bodies elections,
he continued.
Responding to a question, he said that when
former president Pervez Musharraf was not happy with the judiciary, at
that time PPP was with the judiciary. PPP practically was launched a
movement for the restoration of judiciary in the country and PPP
government reinstated it by using the power of Executive Order.
Further,
he said that after the restoration of democracy in the country we are
excelling in progress day by day. Yousaf Raza Gilani said that every
institute should work in its own limits and pay respect to each other,
and we want more stable institutes in the country. While if judiciary
wants to make it stable and strong, PPP has no objection.
The PM said that PPP welcomes all the positive steps which are taken from opposition side. Online
