Brig Ali Khan may be offered premature retirement, another job in NDU: sources

ISLAMABAD: Brigadier Ali Khan of Pakistan Army, which was apprehended by secret agencies on the charges of having ties with a defunct outfit, is expected to be given important responsibilities in National Defence University (NDU) after his retirment.

This was disclosed by reliable source to Online that Brigadier Ali would be offered an important position in NDU to keep an close eye on his activities after his retirement form army , “However another option to grant him two years extension is also on the cards of GHQ”, the source added.
The source revealed that the top leadership of Pak Army has decided principally to give job in NDU after he gets premature retirement form uniformed service.
It is pertinent to mention here that few days ago Brig Ali Khan was arrested by secret agencies, on the charges that he had some kind of relations with barred organization, Hizb-ul-Tehreer. He is still under investigation in the custody of Pak Army. However his brother Bashir Khan told this scribe that he does not know anything about the retirement of his brother.
When contacted Director General ISPR major General Athar Abbas he confirmed that Brigadier Ali Khan was still in the custody and interrogation is underway with him. “I am not in the position to answer any other question”, the spokesman of Pak Army added. Online
