ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister & Senator Rehman Malik has
clarified his statement which was published on Friday’s papers
regarding Raiwind, he said, “Raiwind is a religious centre, I owe it by
my heart.”
While making clarification of his statement, Rehman
Malik maintained that he pays deep respect and honor by heart for
Raiwind being a religious and Tablighi missionary centre of Pakistan.
He
said that his statement was taken in its wrong way. Malik said that
there is no any terrorist activity going in Raiwind. He said, “His
statement was wrongly interpreted.”
It is pertinent to mention
here that Rehman Malik’s statement was published in Friday’s papers
that the Tablighi missionary center in Raiwind is a breeding ground for
extremism and terrorism in Pakistan and has major role in brainwashing
