ISLAMABAD: President Pakistan Muslim League Chaudhry Shujat Hussain
has said that Tableeghi Jamaat’s Raiwind Markaz is not a centre of
terrorism, in-fact message of peace and tolerance is spread through
Raiwind Markaz, this is why it is recognized as a great religious
seminary of the world.
Addressing a news conference here on
Friday, the PML-Q chief said that the Tableeghi Jamaat is spreading not
only in Pakistan but all over the world the message of tolerance and
brotherhood. Never ever any word for sectarianism has been said in any
“Ijtimah” of Tableeghi Jamaat. Tableeghi Jamaat is the only
organization which is actively trying to make a bridge between the West
and the Islamic world.
He rebutted confusions in the mind of
some people and said that Tableeghi Jamaat is a voice of peace and has
nothing to do with extremism and terrorism. Its work for clarifying the
existing misunderstandings between the West and Islamic world is
recognized all over the world. Tableeghi Jamaat has successfully spread
the message of love for humanity brotherhood, and has never violated
law of Pakistan or any other country.

said that Raiwind Markaz along with its work for preach of Islam is
also recognized internationally as a centre of peace and love for
humanity. Tableeghi Jamaat has served with rank and files for peace,
brotherhood, and love for humanity. This is why its annual “Ijtimah” in
Raiwind is the second biggest in the world after Hajj. People from
every sect and walk of life attend this “Ijtimah”. Hundreds of
thousands attend it and is regarded as a great symbol for Muslim
brotherhood. It is the excellence of Tableeghi Jamaat that it provides
every basic need to the people who attend its annual “Ijtimah” at
Raiwind.
He added that Tableeghi Jamaat not only in Pakistan
but also organizes religious Ijtimah’s at Bangladesh, Afghanistan,
India and other countries of the world. We all see exemplary discipline
at these “Ijtimah’s”. Even no crime of any nature is committed at these
