Karachi: Continued violence claim 11 lives

At least 11 persons were killed and seven others injured in the result of the ongoing violent incidents in Karachi.

According to the police Gul Khan was killed in Ayyub Goth area of city in the result of the firing unidentified persons; meanwhile a dead body packed in a polythene bag was recovered near the Mehmoosd Shah Hotel from the limits of the Nepier Police Station.
Two persons namely Wasim and Rafiq were killed in Baldia Town in the result of the firing of unidentified persons; meanwhile three persons were killed in Liyari Pirabad Bhitai Abad area of the city.
Danish and Suleman were killed in Lasbella and Gharibabad areas of the city respectively; meanwhile one person was killed at Ibrahim Haidery area of the city.
One person was killed at Soldier Bazaar in the result of the firing of unidentified gunmen on a car; meanwhile father and son were killed in Shah Latif Town area the city on family dispute.
On the other hand, seven persons were injured in the result of the firing of unidentified gunmen in Quaidabad, Orangi Town, PHA Society, Mari Pur and Liyari areas of the city respectively.
Meanwhile police have arrested one dacoit from Hassan Square as two dacoits were busy looting people and a police mobile of Aziz Bhatti Police Station reaching the spot held the one dacoit and his companion managed to fled the scene.
Police have recovered the looted money and other things from the custody of the arrested dacoit. SANA
