China values Pak people’s sentiments for Chinese: Chinese Ambassador

RAWALPINDI: The People’s Republic of China highly values Pakistani people’s sentiments of love and friendship with her, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Liu Jian said.

While talking to Pakistan Green Task Force (PGTF) President and renowned social worker Dr Jamal Nasir, says a press statement issued here on Sunday.
Dr Jamal Nasir called on the Chinese ambassador and briefed him about the ongoing projects of the Pakistan Green Task Force for the improvement of environment. He also informed the ambassador about the PGTF members’ sentiments of love and warmth towards China.
Talking to Dr Jamal Nasir, Ambassador Liu Jian said that the friendly relations between Pakistan and China have always been exemplary and besides the development of Pakistan and welfare of its people, China would also promote a durable cooperation in the social sectors.
During the meeting, the PGTF president said that China is a trusted friend of Pakistan and has met all the standards of a time-tested friend. He said the people of Pakistan highly value the generous assistance and support always extended by China in difficult circumstances.
He said the friendship between the two countries is deeper than oceans and taller than mountains and it is gaining further strength with the passage of time.
On the occasion, Dr Jamal Nasir also offered on behalf of the Pakistan Green Task Force members to plant saplings at the Chinese Embassy during the monsoon plantation drive. The Chinese ambassador welcomed the offer and lauded the efforts of the Pakistan Green Task Force for the improvement of environment. Online
