SHAHKOT: A real uncle gunned down his niece and her alleged lover in
the name of honour. After committing the crime, the killer managed to
escape form the scene.
According to the details, in the village
of Kotla Kahalwan , suburb of Shahkot , an 18 years old girl had some
love affair with the dumb young boy of the village , Ashfaq . The
lovebirds used to meet often.

Ghulam Haider forbade her again and again form meeting Ashfaq but
invain. On Sunday , when her family members were busy in a marriage
ceremony , she went to the home of Ashfaq. When her uncle came to know
he also reached his house where the door was locked from inside.
On
seeing all this he went to home and brought the gun with him and
entered the house after breaking the door and opened indiscriminate
firing on both girl and boy , which were present there. After twin
murder , the criminal fled away . Police after taking the bullet
