he US has said that there is no evidence of any direct link between the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan and the Haqqani network.
"I don't have any evidence of that (the link between ISI and the Haqqani network) either way," US state department spokesman Mark Toner told reporters at his daily news conference.
Toner was asked about news reports on links between ISI and Haqqani network. "We remain committed to working with Pakistan on counterintelligence or counterterrorism operations. We believe they've been successful to date," he said.
Toner said there are challenges in the relationship with Pakistan but the US is committed to working through them. PTI
