Leader of the Opposition in Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri voiced serious concerns over the Kharotabad incident, the killing of a young person at the hands of Rangers in Karachi and the threats being received by media person for releasing footage of these horrific incidents.
He regretted that the government has done nothing to check the situation in Balochistan and Karachi and asked the government to take these matters seriously and act to control the alarming situation.
He said that the Supreme Court is only sitting for PML-N, adding that if PML-N is not accepting the Senate chairman decision then tomorrow anyone could refuse to accept the decision.
He said that the day the decision for the appointment of opposition leader was made in the Senate some of our friends are protesting against the decision from that very day, adding that they are not following the rules and regulations of the house.
He said that the PML-N talks about taking every matter in SC, questioning that weather SC is only sitting for PML-N, adding that weather it is the only duty of SC to issue judgments in favour of PML-N. SANA
