Era of those who term Kashmir govt their wrist watch, hand stick passed: Nawaz Sharif

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that if Allah will succeed PML-N in Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections his party would form government based on democratic norms and a real representative of the masses of the area.
He said that in past a specific group was holding power in AJK, which is still continued, adding that the era of those who termed the government of AJK as hand stick and wrist watch has passed.
This he said while addressing the meeting of AJK party workers, which was held here at Punjab house here on Tuesday.
He said that the people of the AJK has awoken, adding that the elected representatives of the AJK would not be alone now as the companions of them are present in the Senate and other assemblies of the country, adding that this thing would be a source of strength for their Kashmir brethren.
He said that “we are the strength of yours and you are the strength of ours, adding that we will work by standing shoulder to shoulder and will struggle for the recognition of rights of the people”.
Nawaz Sharif said that the progress which would be achieved for the Pakistanis would be available for Kashmiris.
He said that projects of welfare of people, jobs for youths, health, residence and transport for Pakistani people would also be started for Kashmiris.
He said that every worker of PML-N would work shoulder to shoulder for the success of candidates contesting the Kashmir elections, adding that the woes and worries of the Kashmiris and Pakistanis are common. SANA
