At least three soldiers were killed and about thirteen others were wounded in latest clashes with Taliban militants on Sunday in a Pakistani tribal agency, close to Afghan border, said sources.
The clashes took place in Walidad area of Baizai district in Mohman tribal agency after militants attacked a security checkpost, security sources told KUNA. They said the two sides exchanged heavy fire, adding, three soldiers were killed and thirteen others were wounded. The security forces launched a retaliatory operation and targeted militant hideouts. Casualties were reported on the militants' side but no exact figure was immediately available. (KUNA)
