PM Gilani stresses for development schemes coordination to avoid overlapping

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said that the elected representatives should closely monitor the development activities within their constituencies to ensure that the funds allocated for the purpose are judiciously utilized to benefit the common man.

He impressed upon them to coordinate the development schemes in a manner to avoid over lapping of development activities which fall under the provincial PSDP. The Prime Minister was talking to Parliamentarian who called on him at his Parliament House Chamber here this afternoon.
The Prime Minister emphasized upon completion of on-going projects and schemes prior to launching of additional development work. The new schemes, he added be planned keeping in view the needs of the people of area as well as the adjoining regions to ensure harmonious development.
The Parliamentarians assured the Prime Minister that they would reach out the masses to assess their requirements and seek their input both in the completion of projects as well as planning for the future. They also apprised the Prime Minister about the status and progress of various on-going schemes in their respective areas. Online
