Court accepts challan of 7 accused persons in Sarfraz Shah Murder case

KARACHI: Administrative Judge of Anti-Terrorism Court in Sindh High Court Justice Maqbool Baqir has accepted the challan presented against seven accused persons including 6 Rangers personnel in Sarfraz Shah murder case.

Special Public Prosecutor Arshid Iqbal Cheema informed the court about the details of the challan that names and statements of 46 witnesses including 2 eye witnesses were included in the challan and police had obtained solid evidence in this case. Analysis of footage of Sarfraz Shah murder has also been got carried out, he told. Footage is genuine and no editing has been made therein.
He further stated police had taken into custody 14 things including blood stained clothes of Sarfraz Shah, spent bullets, G-3 rifle, and camera from the scene.
Head of investigation team, DIG Sultan Khawaja said investigation into Sarfraz Shah killing case had been finalized. The court shifted the case to Anti-Terrorism Court No 1. Online
