Interior Minister Rehman Malik while condemning the suicide blast at the private bank in I-8 Markaz has vowed to root out the terrorism from the country.
Talking to a private TV channel Rehman Malik said that the he salute the martyred guard Muhammad Bashir, who by sacrificing his life saved many precious lives of bank staff.
Rehman Malik also announced Sitara-e-Shujaat for the martyred guard of the bank.
Rehman Malik said that the security agencies of the country are working actively, adding that the security is on red alert from the last one week and every information regarding the terrorist activities is being passed to provinces.
He said that the country is passing through war like situation and threats of terrorism are hovering over the country.
He said that the country is facing a guerilla war, adding that to root out the enemies of the country the law enforcement agencies are working actively and trying to foil the heinous designs of the enemy.
He said that the whole nation would have to support the government for the elimination of terrorism from the country.
He said that the terrorists every day change their plan and the government in reaction also chaining its plan every day to foil the designs of the terrorists.
He said that it was the suicide attack and the head of the suicide bomber has been found from the blast site, adding that there was no specific information about the attack but threats were present that the terrorists could attack any part of the country. SANA
